The last few years have brought many exciting changes and installments all over the Universal Studios: Orlando. In 2019, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and has become a huge fan favorite. Then, just over a year ago, Universal’s Islands of Adventure welcomed the award-winning VelociCoaster as part of their renovated Jurassic Park section.
The excitement continues on in 2023 with the opening of Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, slated to open this summer! According to Travel Weekly, this interactive attraction will be part of the Minion Land which will feature “existing attraction Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a new Minion Café, and more!” This family-friendly area is sure to provide fun for groups of all ages.
Although no official opening date has been announced, we are also very excited for Universal’s Epic Universe. This highly-anticipated park “will offer an entirely new level of experience that will forever change theme park entertainment,” as stated on Universal Orlando Resort’s website.
