DAY 1
- Travel day – Start your adventure and depart from school for Washington, DC
- Meet ground transportation and transfer to 3-diamond all-suites hotel in Washington, DC area
- Enjoy a complimentary evening social Monday-Thursday at your hotel for a light dinner/snacks
- Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a student-friendly restaurant this evening
DAY 2
- Breakfast provided at your hotel
- Visit the National Archives – home of the Declaration of Independence
- Tour the White House
- Enjoy your All-In-One National Mall and Tidal Basin Walking Tour today
- This highly engaging 4-hour tour will take you through the heart of the National Mall and Tidal Basin, entertaining your group with stories, hidden secrets and historical information.
- Time permitting each day – visit the various monuments around Washington, DC – explore on your own and at your leisure

DAY 3

- Tour the Capital Building
- Explore the popular Newseum or the brand new Museum of the Bible this afternoon
- Explore the Lincoln Assassination on your Walking Tour today
- It was a night that changed the history of a nation forever. Journey back in time with your guide to learn about the three-pronged attack designed to decapitate the U.S. Government. Shrouded in mystery, intrigue and conspiracy, the assassination of the 16th U.S. president has fascinated Americans and foreigners for nearly 150 years. Come along on this 2-hour tour to meet the characters, walk the streets, and see the buildings where this great drama played out in the Lincoln Assassination.
DAY 4
- Breakfast provided at your hotel
- Visit Arlington National Cemetery
- Join the Arlington National Cemetery Tour as you take a walk through American history and honor our nation’s military and war heroes. This 3 hour walking tour includes stops at President JFK’s grave site, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where you will witness the time honored tradition of the Changing of Guard Ceremony, and Arlington House – the home and National Memorial of General Robert E. Lee. Tour won’t just show you the sites: they will tell you the stories. Come along on this family-friendly tour of one of this nation’s most sacred grounds.
- Free time this afternoon or schedule additional tours and visits to places not already covered
DAY 5
- Breakfast provided at your hotel
- Following breakfast, transfer into the city
- Spend the day exploring the many offerings of the Smithsonian Museums
- Free admission to DC-area museum (please note African American Museum requires timed entry pass so Forum can arrange this in advance for you)
- Begin your Smithsonian exploration at the Smithsonian Visitor Center in the Institution’s first building, popularly known as the Castle, which is open daily 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Most of the museums are walking distance from the Castle (the entire span is less than two miles).
- Use your Dining Dollars Food Vouchers for your meals today
- Group tours of the various Smithsonian exhibits can be arranged if you are interested in a bit more directed activity
- Schedule a Segway tour of the National Mall if interested as well
- Celebrate with a Finale Group Dinner tonight at an area restaurant
DAY 6
- Breakfast provided at your hotel
- Travel day – depart from Washington, D.C. for return trip home
